Owning a well not always cheap. To those who complain about the hourly rate, Valley Pump is right in line with the competition. I get it sucks laying $500 every time you have water issues, but it beats city water all day long. These guys have installed, replaced and serviced 2 of my wells since 1992. Recently, Dave and Joe did a great job at repairing my pump, instead of replacing it, helping me suck the last out of my existing pump. I’ve tried the others and Valley Pump has been the best fit for me. Even the office gal is good!
Pump stopped working on a Saturday. Called Valley Pump and talked to Joe. Rather than charging me overtime to come out on a Saturday evening, he asked me a series of questions and we discussed what I already tried and his best guess of the problem. Monday morning Joe arrived and took a look at everything and gave an estimate. Josh and Martin arrived a few hours later to start working. I should point out, this was the hottest day so far this year. Temperatures in my area were 108 degrees but it felt like 115 outside my house. I should point out, this was the hottest day so far this year. Temperatures in my area were 108 degrees but it felt like 115 outside my house. They were very nice and professional and got to work right away. They were able to remove the old piping and pump without cutting through the roof of my well house. I thought for sure they would have to remove a wall or cut through the roof or worse, order parts and I would be without water another 2 or 3 days but nope. They worked continuously in the hot sun and were able to replace the piping and install a new well pump. They also upgraded my control box. I had clear running water before they left. So grateful for Josh and Martin suffering through our unusual heatwave and restoring water to me. Thank you sooooo much!
BUYER BEWARE: HIDDEN FEES & QUESTIONABLE SERVICE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY'S PRICING STRUCTURE I'm writing this review to save others from the frustrating and expensive experience I had. Before you consider hiring this organization, please understand their deceptive pricing model: The Real Cost Breakdown: $350 "Service Fee" - This only covers UP TO two hours of travel time (not actual service) $350 PER HOUR for the actual work performed You will pay for travel time to OTHER customers' jobs Expect to pay at least $1,000 for even basic service calls When I questioned these excessive charges, I was given the runaround with no resolution... Management refused to address my concerns about the unclear pricing that was never properly explained upfront. Additional Concerns: The service technician arrived with a firearm visibly hanging out of his pants - completely unprofessional and concerning for a home service visit Staff was dismissive when I tried to discuss the final bill Their pricing structure appears deliberately misleading BOTTOM LINE: Save yourself time, money, and frustration. This company charges premium prices for substandard service while hiding their true costs. I strongly recommend reading ALL reviews and getting written cost estimates before considering their services.
Same experience as Brianna. I wish I read the post before. Valley Pump cheated me. When called about water pump stopping intermittently, they said they had the availability and can come the same day and that it would cost me $350 for a two hour service call including travel time. They came to my place stayed for an hour max and charged me close to 4 times more for a service call where they didn’t even have to put in any new part. When called about the bill owner is told me stories about the traffic and crew came back late and so he had to pay overtime and again none of this was communicated ahead of time.
