Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with these folks. I've tried reaching out for a few months to see if we could resolve the issues, but have not received a single response. We hired United to do the plumbing for a small cottage in our backyard. At the beginning we really liked the guy that was heading up our project (John possibly?), but then small mistakes started cropping up - for example, a drain pipe set three inches in the wrong direction prior to pouring the foundation which required us to change the framing plan and affected the layout of two different rooms. Then, long stretches between the crew's visits without any communication. I'd call or text saying we were ready for them to come out, or ask what the holdup was, and get a vague answer or none at all. There were a few times when I asked about things I noticed were wrong or off and never got straight answers or an offer to fix them. For example, no drain was put in for the toilet (I asked about this a few times) and a main cleanout was put right in front of the front door. Finally, after two months of zero communication (after a total of six months working with them), I called and let them know we were going to hire someone else. I was kind about it. The new plumbers confirmed the issues I had noticed, ended up having to jackhammer the floor to fix them, and brought up other issues that United should have seen and discussed with us. We had to spend roughly $3000-4000 to undo and fix the issues. Had United done a good job from the beginning and more thoroughly investigated our system and lot, we honestly might not have ever moved forward with the project. My intention in reaching out was to discuss the situation with the owner, who I'm not sure was even aware of all that went on, and see if we could seek a partial refund on the work, but after several calls and texts, I've heard nothing back. If someone from United sees this message, I'm happy to discuss further and edit my review accordingly! I see your good reviews and don't think this is the norm for your work.
