I used this company for a few years after they successfully repaired a trane coil with an American standard part, which no trane dealer could seem to do.... however I had an absolutely terrible experience this summer with my "check up" - they sent a new tech who was not experienced or familiar with my system - the apartment they serviced was vacant at the time - in October when we tried to use the AC it did not cool - they came out and found that there was no freon in the unit. They charged me 10x the market price of 410 A - over $250.00 a pound to re-charge my unit - they put in a dye pack to check for leaks - they came back later and found no leaks at the coil and no leaks at the compressor - I escorted the technician ( a more experienced one) to both parts - I asked what else could cause a leak, could a schraeder valve stick open when checking the coolant pressures? Sure enough my shredder valve would stick open unless manipulated to close. After this the unit continued to function with no apparent loss of Freon. They sent another tech with sniffer equipment which also did not find apparent leaks, but registered 1 part per million at a conduit where my lines run underground so they said "that's the leak" - however after a months my unit is still functioning with no apparent loss of coolant as the AC is properly cold. BOTTOM LINE - IMO THEIR TECH caused the loss of freon that they then charged me $1000 to recharge and diagnose. COMPLETELY UNACCOUNTABLE AND NOT TRUST WORTHY as they believe their novice techs can do no wrong and go out of their way to put fault onto freon leaks and the the cost back to the customer. Note that all warranties from them exclude freon - by marking it up 10x they are shifting warranty costs back to the consumer - total scam - will never pay monthly fees to be locked into a service provided who can not admit mistakes. In response: No one has been to service my AC and "lied" to me - the AC still works perfectly fine after five months yet no leak repair was done - Mike B was the normal technician - I believe you are speaking of the guy who serviced my house on the Northshore and was no longer available when I called to have that serviced last fall - I don't need any advice on this - logic speaks clearly - the gage was not properly unhooked from my schraeder valve allowing the freon to leak out - no other leaks could be detected - there is no other reason it would magically fix itself and lose four lbs of freon between 7/9 and 9/15 then not lose any between 9/15 and today (the house was vacant last July through September so no one would know when it stopped cooling) - it didn't leak to begin with - rather it was left stuck open on disconnect by one of your techs. I have multiple addresses that you serviced - you sent a new technician to my house 7/1/2025 it was NOT MIKE B who normally serviced my house - this new guy didn't even fill out the paperwork correctly nor include his name on the paperwork and capture the data on the two units he serviced - all he did was take photos - Mike had to come back on 7/09/2025 and do this. Mike's name is on his 7/9 invoice, no name is on the 7/1 invoice, there are text messages that show who my technician is before he arrives, however one was not sent on 7/1/25, yet I have an invoice that includes photos of the guys arm and it is not Mike's arm. This same tech (not Mike) also got dirt all over my access doors (photo attached). He also came to the wrong house parking in my neighbors driveway (photo attached), he was a nice guy, but he did not seem to be well trained. Total maintenance is not accountable for a service techs mistake. What morals and values allow you to charge $260 lb for 410a - be certain I will avoid companies with such morals and values! and recommend others to do the same! Maintenance contracts and "discounts" are a scam IMO
