Tope Plumbing

I recently purchased a home and haven’t moved in yet. Last week, I noticed a downspout overflowing at the base of my gutter, which was not only failing to drain properly but also starting to seep into my basement. A neighbor recommended Tope Inc., and I’m very glad they did. I called on Monday, and within a couple of days they had someone out at my house. The technician called to let me know he was onsite, and when I walked over he introduced himself and immediately got to work. He quickly identified large tree roots as the cause of the blockage and worked diligently to clear them out. From my initial call to the completed work, the entire experience was wonderful—professional, prompt, and thorough. A special shout-out to Tyler for his hard work and excellent service. Tope did a replacement on a sewer line with a massive amount of root growth before we moved into our house. They were prompt to do the work which really helped everyone involved out to meet our closing date. About a month after we moved in we had a sewer backup for reasons completely unrelated to their work. However when I called them asking if they'd come check the recently installed pipe section for failure they were more than willing to and happy to help. They came out and verified it was in good standing twice and ruled out a likelihood of further issues for free. Recommend around 6 weeks later it might be a good idea to pre-cable the pipe before the holidays and rule out any slow build ups. Which they did, found everything was still in good shape, and charged less than Roto-Rooter or other plumbers. All in all helpful people who are willing to work with you. Would recommend.

Very disappointed in Tope Plumbing. I feel like I was scammed. Very young plumber came out to snake my main line. Had some resistance pulled the snake out and said we needed a camera ran. Which I felt like I had to agree with since he said I had a complete blockage and collapsed pipe. Camera did not show a collapsed pipe only a small break with water flowing through the line with sewage not mud. Another plumber came out and had it cleared in 20 minutes. Do not recommend at all. They lied about a collapsed pipe and complete blockage. They are only trying to up-sale their cameras at a cost of $340.00 and the line still wasn't cleared.
