Tom Rechtin Heating & Air Conditioning

I already use Tom Rechtin but today I was stuck in some of the crazy snow we have and one of their employees came over and helped dig me out. A very kind act that he didn’t have to do. Very nice some one is still going out of their way to help strangers.

We have used Tom Rechtin for regular maintenance; we are PMA members. Last week our heat stopped at 4:40 PM. We volunteered to not have service until the next day. By early afternoon, we had a diagnosis and a spare part was being acquired. Our technician Brendon was one of the finest techs I have ever had. Intelligent, personable, dedicated to problem solving - what a terrific representative of this fine company. Use them, you won't regret it.

Our heat in one of our Church buildings was not working. All 3 furnaces would not operate. Called late in the day and Rechtin made sure that they would send someone that day. Zach arrived about 3:30 and determined that the gas line pressure was extremely high. The problem was that water had dripped on the gas meter and had frozen up the vent which was the cause of the high pressure. Zach not only stayed late but he also made the call to DUKE energy to come and make the needed repairs to the gas meter. Worked with Zach on my HVAC service - he did a great job explaining what he did in order to get things working properly again today. We also talked through the 'pros' of the service contract, which by signing up for, I avoided line-item charges that I would've incurred otherwise, and now I'm also set for spring and fall maintenance. Greatly appreciated!
