I called TMG as I had an emergency situation with a water leak. This company provided excellent communication throughout. They sent a tehnician to my house in the middle of a bad snow storm. The tech determined that my water leak was not a plumbing issue, but he was able to figure out what caused it. This enabled me to take steps to stop the leak. I highly recommend TMG, as they didn't even charge me for the service call because it wasn't a plumbing issue. These are honest people. They even offered to help me with the insurance claim process!

I had a very disappointing experience with TMG and would not recommend them. We had a pipe burst in our home and called TMG around 3:30 PM. We were told a technician was already nearby in Waterford and could arrive within about an hour. We were informed that prepayment of $695 was required, which we paid. After payment was taken, the arrival window was changed to 5–7 PM. Due to the urgency of the situation, we contacted Ed’s Plumbing, who arrived promptly and completed the repair (they bill after services are completed). At 5:30 PM, while Ed’s Plumbing was finishing the job, TMG called asking if anyone was at the house. I asked if a technician was on the way and was told “not yet, but soon.” No one from TMG ever arrived. The next morning around 9:00 AM, I contacted TMG and was told by billing that a refund would be issued since no services were provided. About one hour later, I received another call stating that they had changed their decision and would not issue a refund, despite no technician ever showing up. I find this business practice extremely troubling—payment was taken, services were not rendered, and the refund was ultimately denied. As a result, I have: Filed a complaint with the State of Connecticut Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Opened a dispute and fraud investigation with my bank This was a stressful emergency situation, and this experience only made it worse. I strongly encourage others to proceed with caution.

Earlier this year we had a very bad water leak in our 2nd floor kitchen/dining/living room while we were away. We did some quick research on the web and found TMG. We called TMG and they were there immediately and identified the issue to be a leaking faucet. The water had spread in the kitchen area, the downstairs laundry room and garage. It was a major issue. TMG performed their remediation process to dry out all the areas needed. We also used TMG to rebuild the upstairs kitchen/dining/living main room and downstairs laundry room and garage. They did a great job working with us and our insurance company every step of the way. The work they performed was top notch and everything came out excellent. All the workers that came out to our house were super nice, knowledgeable and talented hard workers. We are very happy with all the work they performed. We would highly recommend using TMG.
