I recently had T&K Electric Company come out to my home, and I can confidently say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had with an electrician in Mesa, AZ.
Shad replaced nine light fixtures, including relocating my dining room chandelier to the front entry, which completely changed the look of my home. He also upgraded two hallway fixtures to recessed lighting, and that recommendation alone made the space feel more modern and elevated. On the exterior, he installed a fixture, replaced my old doorbell with a Ring doorbell camera, and completed a panel inspection as well.
Shad was never rushing and was paying close attention to detail the entire time. He explained everything clearly, pointed out potential concerns, and offered solutions that made sense — no pressure, just honest and professional electrical work.
If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable electrician in Mesa or the greater Phoenix area, I highly recommend T&K Electric Company. The quality of work, communication, and overall professionalism were top-tier. I will absolutely be using them again.
I was very impressed with the service I received during my solar installation. I was kept informed during every step of the install. I chose to install on 2 properties, one of which is my main residence. Angel and his crew were very professional, respectful, maintained a clean job site. I chose T&K from the SRP list and happy I did. I will choose them again when I am ready to install solar on my other properties. Thank you sincerely, jo.
T and K Electric was recommended to me and when Tommy came out, I was very impressed with his knowledge and courtesy. I asked him to install 2 sets of solar batteries. He ordered the batteries and all the parts needed to do the work. He and his crew performed quality work in a timely manner when they installed the solar batteries. After they were installed his supervisor came out and made sure everything was working properly. I'm so happy and pleased with T&K Electric. I recommend Tommy and his company to anyone that wants electrical work.
T&K installed and sevice our solar system. They have been very professional and detail oriented from start to finish. The installation looks great. They even patched and painted the inside wall of the garage where electrical work needed to be completed. Ely, Angel, Shadrach, Andy, Matt are great and I will always recommend T&K for your solar installation needs!
The job was to run SER from our main exterior panel on one side of the house, into conduit to punch through into the attic space, down the attic and into a new flush mount sub panel in the garage on the other side of the house. After receiving multiple quotes from various electricians and having an above average understanding of the scope of the work myself, talking through it with Tommy, it was clear that he understood what was needed and knew what he was talking about.
Tommy worked with us on the price and was flexible with the quote as far as adding details that were important to us. That said, there were some hiccups throughout the process. I had taken off of work to be available on the scheduled day of install. Unfortunately, the night before I was informed by Tommy that our appointment would have to be pushed due to his crew running over on their job that day, but he offered a discount to the original quote for the inconvenience. I felt that this was above and beyond considering the state of the industry/trades in general.
On the rescheduled day of install, Shad arrived, but brought with him a sub panel that wasn't as-advertised. That said, Shad was understanding and worked with Tommy to get the correct panel delivered that was ultimately the one that I had hoped for.
Install, which included a disconnect for a new mini split that we're having installed separately was completed all in the same day, despite the heat, without incident and with good workmanship. Shad and his helper, Angel, were communicative throughout the day and very tidy. They even took the time to clean up before running to the store for parts and coming back to finish the job. Only real critiques that I have with the install itself (and it's nit-picky) is that they cut the drywall hole just a bit too large for the panel so that the cover edge isn't completely covering the hole on the bottom (pictured). So, I may need to get creative when the time comes for drywall patching.
My wife privately expressed concern to me about the hole around the conduit attic penetration, but Tommy had been forthright in that stucco and drywall repairs weren't included in the given quote. So, I expected that and prepared accordingly to repair it in the coming days. However, to my surprise, Shad called me the next day to advise that a co-worker was coming by to verify that he had adequately tightened the hub on the main panel and that Tommy wasn't satisfied with the look of the attic penetration and wanted him to seal it up. Eli (?) showed up in a timely manner, sealed up the penetration well, and left.
Honestly, I would not hesitate to use T&K Electric again. 4 stars because there's definitely room for improvement in the elimination of the avoidable "hiccups" listed in this review. That said, it says A LOT about a company that takes ownership of their mistakes and proactively makes an effort to remedy the situation, whatever it may be, which can't be said for many other businesses. As such, that makes them 5 stars in my book and I would definitely recommend Tommy's T&K Electric. Thank you guys!!
