Great company to do business with! Tyler answered all of our questions as we went through the estimate. Joe and his install team were polite, professional and on time. They communicated well and finished sooner than expected. Highly recommend!
To say this company "sucks" would be an offense to all the other profanity available.
They did NOTHING as promised. They explained the foundation wasn't deep enough to excavate to three feet. Understood. But, then they removed NOTHING under the rest of the floor, instead laying joists in sand.
But wait... they also pulled NO building permit and proceeded to NOT install a rim joists to attach the other joists to, they also put in 2 x 6 joists rather than standard and instead of 3/4"" standard subfloor, they used 1/2" plywood. When you walked on it, you thought you were on a trampoline. Or one you expected to fall through.
The joists were attached to NOTHING.
PROMISED: Excavation, encapsulation (covering the entire crawl soace inva liner), a pit and sump pump installed. NONE OF THOSE THINGS WERE DONE. Their framing looked like they might give a 10-year old competition for most incompetent tree house construction.
What was promised to take no more than three weeks took almost three months. Then we had to hire another contractor to tear out all their "work" and re-do it to code and properly. To the tune of another $30,000+.
Run away from this company.
They stole a $7,500 down-payment and you know THEY KNOW THEYRE CROOKS, because they never asked for the rest of their payment. GIVE ME BACK MY DOWN PAYMENT or hear from my attorney. You actually caused damage to the cabin that had to be paid for.
This is how they finish the subflooring, with 1-2" gaps. And that's nothing. I can post plenty of other "disaster" photos. Check back here for more.
Robert does excellent work with basements and egress windows. He gave me a quote for one of my basements and I’ve even referred him to clients looking to add square footage to their homes. He runs a great business and truly delivers quality.
My wife and I bought the house earlier this year and once we found out how bad the sag was in our floor we contacted 5 different companies to fix our basement. We had 5 different estimates from a couple thousand dollars all the way up to $20,000. The other companies were very pushy about other things in our basement and not just focused on what we were originally calling about, Robert was not like that at all and was very focused on what we called him about and also Titletown was the most affordable. Robert and his crew were awesome. The couple times we met with Robert prior to the job he was very friendly and accurate with his information. He worked on it as his “own home” like he even said a couple times. They were honest about not being able to get the sag completely out since our home was just freshly redone but he worked with us to get the most out of the lift. We will be having more work done with Titletown basements. Thank you Robert, Jesse, and Jay!
