This place wanted to charge me $800 to oil and lubricate a $2500 watch. They also asked me to pay for shipping both ways $50 each way. This place needs to be investigated for price gouging. I am my watch back and paying $200-300 which is normal.

Ordered my first of probably many swiss watches from The Watchmaker (A Mido Ocean Star GMT). Friendly people and great service, took only 3 business days for the watch to get to the store. They adjusted my bracelet for a proper fit and even set the time for me. Will definitely be back to look at my next piece.

I called with a question about an Oris watch I have. They were able to get back to me in a short period of time about a compatible strap for my Aquis 400. I live in New York and did this all over email/phone. They were able to order straps directly from Switzerland for me and have them to me in under the 30 days they thought it might take. I would purchase from them again. Thank you.
