Dropped off PC 12/4, called week after was told someone called, never got message tech said sorry called wrong number, my bad. Was told they couldn't duplicate what PC was doing and had another tech that was going to look at it. Another week went by, no word, called 12/18, said 3 techs had meeting on PC that morning and still couldn't duplicate issue. Asked if keyboard/mouse might be the issue, was told a possibility. Made arrangements to meet tech on Mon. 12/22 with keyboard/mouse in hand, was told he'd be there. Got there and was told tech wasn't in on Monday's. NOT a happy camper, made trip from Canaan to Waterville for nothing. Still coul... Still couldn't figure out what was wrong with PC, had choice to leave PC or take it home. Decided to take it home seeing how they had it for nearly 3 weeks and nothing done/fixed. PC brought out to counter with NO bag that it was brought in with, only the pad from the bottom of the bag was present and sitting on top of my PC. Had to wait another 20 mins. for clerk to find MY bag (couldn't) so came up with another that PC just barely fit in. Don't feel the service or lack of was worth the $45 I shelled out. Communication is pretty much non-existent at least in my case. If PC doing what it was doing before I brought it to Techy, I'll be looking for another place to bring it. Addition to other issues: Found sticker on side of PC that states "doing funny things, call her for an explination" (their spelling not mine)" must be the call I never got because someone dialed the wrong number. They didn't know what was going on until I CALLED them!!! Then, to top things off, I was hooking everything up to the tower when I realized not only did they NOT give me back the bag I brought the PC in with but they KEPT MY POWER CORD!!!! I called them to let them know that wasn't returned and they told me I could come down and pick it up. NO THANKS!!! I already made a trip from Canaan to Waterville for NOTHING so told them to mail it to me. I was informed that IF they find my bag they'll mail that back as well. Should have told them I wanted my $45 back too!!!! 12/24 Just received a call from the store manager. I was told she listened to the call I made to her "associate" and my call was very inappropriate. Not only that, but it was insinuated that I was a liar!!!! I brought a power cord into the store with my pc in a bag big enough to hold the pc and the power cord. Somehow they lost the bag or put someone else's PC in it because all that was given back to me was the pad that sat in the bottom of it and it was on top of my pc when the kid brought it from out back. I was told that the bag they supplied me with - a bag that just barely fit over the pc - had the power cord in it. I watched the kid put the pc on a chair, turn the bag upside down and wrestle with it to get it over the pc!!! There was no room in that bag for a power cord - so the associate lied, not me!!!! The manager wouldn't even let me get a word in edgewise, repeated to me a few more times that the power cord was in the bag - yeah ok, and I tried to explain to her again but she would not listen and told me that the next time I call to be more polite with her associates and she wasn't going to "argue" with me any more, said good bye and hung up on me. Kid that I dealt (believe he was the OWNER and only 18 yrs. old) with has no clue how to interact with a customer, quite obvious he LIED to protect his butt, store manager isn't any better at dealing with customers either. She needs lessons on how to LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER and not be so INAPPROPRIATE when dealing with one.
My son’s X Box was over heating unexpectedly as it’s hardly used. Parker diagnosed it, repaired it, and had it back to me in under 2 hours. Excellent service, great pricing, and a very clean welcoming store front.
I have never written a review before, but I had a pretty terrible experience. I brought my phone in to repair my broken camera. I said I didn't care about the price, I just wanted it done correctly. They called to say it was fixed, but when I got it home, it clearly wasn't, with a giant internal smudge on my 1x lens. I brought it back and said they could just replace the whole camera. They then informed me that they'd shattered the back glass of my phone and needed to replace it. They sent me home with an unusable phone, which would restart itself every couple minutes, randomly, because the back was covered in tape. I brought it back and said... They sent me home with an unusable phone, which would restart itself every couple minutes, randomly, because the back was covered in tape. I brought it back and said they may as well just keep it until it was done. It took a couple days, because the back glass they ordered was delayed. And when I got it back, after 3 days without my phone, and about a full week of back and forth with them, the camera was STILL blurry on the inside, from the tape they'd put over it, and the back glass didn't have the apple logo, and literally broke (with my case on it!) within a day. For context, I have never broken a phone screen or back in the entire time I've owned a cell phone. To me this suggests a really poor quality item. Honestly I wish I'd never brought it in to them, and just paid the money to get it fixed at the Apple store. I'm really disappointed.
