TECHY Frederick - Buy/Repair/Sell

TLDR: The repair I brought my phone on for was fixed in a timely manner, but during the repair my power button was broken and I had to haggle to get a small reimbursement. Overall, beware if there are further issues while using their repair services. Used the business to repair a broken screen on my phone. I was visiting the area for a short time, and the business was able to work within my limited timeframe well and was efficient with having to order the parts and set up a time to fix the screen while I was here. I mostly interacted with Swapna, and she was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, during the repair my power button no longer worked and Swapna informed me that that was due to the process of putting everything back together after fixing the screen. She indicated that, normally, during these situations, she would fix the new issue however my timeline in the area didn't make that an option. Since that wasn't an option, I had to ask what else she could do for me given the fact that I paid full price for a service that left my phone still broken. She eventually offered a $15 reimbursement (the price for the repair was $120), and feeling like I would have to haggle to get anything more, I accepted the offer. The initial repair was completed and the service was good, however when an issue arose as a result of the business' repair, and Swapna was given the chance to do the right thing, it was a struggle to get any sort of accountability or remedy from her/the business. Left a really bad taste in my mouth.
