Tom has got to be the one of the most amenable and professional people I have known. He fulfills what he says he's going to do but and his wife take it one step further by double checking if there is anything else needed. My perennials are pruned and my plants are growing in leaps and bounds.
A week ago my yard was a total mess after winter.
But now T &J Landscaping have transformed my property into a place that only leaves me the fun part of yardwork...taking care of my flowers. His prices are very affordable and completely fair.
Thank you so, so much Tom...you have no idea how much of a difference this has made to me.
With much appreciation Sally
Thomas goes above and beyond. Professional and responsible, affordable, and would definitely recommend. They do my leaf cleanup in the spring every year. They pay attention to detail and do an excellent job.
These guys are awesome! Very communicative and willing to work with my schedule (and deal with some unexpected weather). They did a great job with a spring cleanup at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them!
I've owned my home for 26 years, and during that time, I've encountered the problems, both big and small, that come with home ownership. Curiosity and financial necessity have always encouraged me to learn and to take on progressively more ambitious repairs and renovations. Over the past few years, though, health issues have prevented that. I've been so fortunate to have Tomas, Selvin, and Riccy from T&J Landscaping helping me with small jobs and taking care of my property.
Whether working on routine mowing or taking on a larger project, they always enter each task with curiosity about my ideas and a commitment to understanding expectations—and ultimately they realize my vision beyond those expectations.
Here's why you should hire them:
1. They're professional. They show up on time; they work diligently and efficiently; and they're respectful.
2. The work is always completed to high standards. They treat the project as if it were being done on their own property.
3. They're good people. They care about their families. They're positive and kind and have a good sense of humor. They're happy to see you, and you can't help but feel lucky to have their support.
4. They don't bring egos to the job. Many women (and probably a lot of men) can relate to hiring someone who is condescending, looking down upon you because you lack experience, ask questions, or have high expectations. Egos can be particularly offensive when they're aimed at a person who does have experience and skill. The employees at T&J come to the job with openness and a willingness (and genuine desire) to learn new things. They work with you, brainstorming, developing plans, and asking questions to be sure that you're working in sync.
5. They're physically strong. Really strong. This translates to significant cost savings as they're able to tackle physically demanding work with fewer people. They work exceedingly hard without complaint.
6. Their fees are absolutely reasonable.
7. They are open to doing work beyond the scope of routine landscaping. They do lawn mowing on a biweekly basis for me, but they're also willing to take care of random things that come up, for example, fixing a gutter, helping to install a door, and recently, taking on the enormous project of building a brick and granite walkway.
Forgive me for the long post; I simply cannot say enough about this company. I've attached photos of the walkway leading to my front porch that they just completed. This project required extensive planning, mathematical calculation, physical strength, creative design sense, and a whole lot of fortitude and persistence. As with everything they do, the results exemplify quality workmanship.
