Boston Automations, my home technology company, recently collaborated with Sweenor Builders on an oceanfront home in Narragansett, Rhode Island, and it was an incredible journey from start to finish! We appreciated most how open and eager their team was to learn about new technologies and how these technologies could elevate the homeowner's living experience. It’s not every day you find a builder that not only embraces innovation but is excited to weave it into their process. The two years we spent collaborating were simply amazing. The team at Sweenor was top notch! From the initial introductions, to the design phase, through construction and to finishing touches, everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, responsive, and skilled. The design phase with Mitch and the team was actually fun, as we experimented with a few different approaches and landed on a design that suited my needs and the property perfectly. The construction phase was well-run and gave me great confidence in the quality of construction and the longevity of the home I was investing in. My project manager Aaron went above and beyond, and did a good job keeping me up to date! The interior design team of Kristen and Talia were terrific to work with, responsive to my requests, and brought great ideas to the table. The whole team did an excellent job keeping me on task with decision points but never overwhelming me with them. I appreciated the transparency in the process and the responsiveness throughout to any of my questions. Now, with construction and landscaping complete, I am enjoying being in the house and seeing how it all came together so well, and getting lots of compliments from neighbors and visitors!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sweenor Builders on a large scale new construction project and it was an exceptional experience. From our first client meeting till the final walkthrough, the team at Sweenor Builders demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to quality. It was a wonderful collaboration between builder, architect and interior designer at Reider + Co. As a designer I have been lucky enough to work with many teams over the last 20 years and this experience really stood out. Not only was Sweenor great with communication and execution but I was very impressed with their internal millwork capabilities. We designed very complex built-ins and interior architecture and they were always up to the challenge going above and beyond to bring the vision to life. Sweenor did a complete rebuild of the outside - roof, siding, shudders, screens, trim and storm windows for our100 year old 8 bedroom summer home. All siding and roof were done in cedar shingles. Home is 8000 sq ft. It was a major project by any standard with a great number of “one off”decisions and solutions due to the age of the home Experience with Sweenor has been entirely positive. Quality of all the work was outstanding and timely. I could not have hoped for more. In addition the entire Sweenor team and subcontractors were of the highest quality and all very pleasant to work with. The attitude was always we will do all the work the right way never any hurrying up or compromise of quality. Despite the size of the job the work was completed within the initial estimate. My recommendation for Sweenor is unqualified. I felt most fortunate to have them as my general contractor on this very large and complicated job.
