A couple years ago i moved from an apartment and into a house but the house was fully furnished so i rented a storage locker here on the second floor with the intent of using everything for my next apartment. I had a bunch of clothes, a couch, a king and queen size mattress and plenty of other things to have a fully equipped apartment when it was time to go. I got a locker on the second floor along with the protection plan they offer giving me a peace of mind. Shortly after signing the contract the rate went up and over a year in they had a water pipe burst and flood my second floor unit damaging and ruining all my things. The claims departm... The claims department and the employees on site are separate entities so I have no complaints with the on site employees. But the claims department didnβt seem to follow our contract regarding reimbursement. They used this arbitrary formula to calculate depreciation of assets even if the life of the item was in the unit. Essentially Iβm here to say if I wouldβve anticipated this outcome I wouldβve just thrown everything away when I moved as it wouldβve saved me money. The reimbursement they provided was a joke and disrespectful and took months with little reply or coordination. They said there was no phone number to call and everything had to be done via email. Iβm not one to write negative reviews but wanted to let the public know that they either need to get their own insurance or just know youβre about to be swindled any angle they can.
First time Customer. Terry was the gentleman who was helping me today. Super nice,very friendly, and he answered every single question that I had. So with that being said, as long as there isn't any problems with anything, which there shouldn't be, Terry is the type of person you want to be greeted by coming into a business for the first time.
This man verbally Assaulted me and threatened me! High strung bully that ran me out of Where I store my belongings. I pay to have my things thereβ¦ He threatened me! Telling me he was going to turn off my code! I was hurt deeply and bullied to leave. This person needs to be checked into, as I was aggressively treated like a criminal at a place I am storing my belongings!!! He is a dangerous man Creating a VERY hostile environment. I actually PAY to get abused like this?! No sir. There is so sort of unethical behavior happening. Often when others are accusing others of something, He is doing something illegal or unethical. I am there being positive and into my business. He said,β get your stuff and leave β or I will have your code turned off!β He is looking to be antagonistic. Heβs extremely unstable, couldnβt even have a pleasant or calm conversation. He was so unfriendly and dismissive, committed to being right about this accusation. Then kept saying β weβre done weβre done. β this combative person, was dismissive and wouldnβt even allow me to speak! Aside from you acting like a lunatic, creating an UNSAFE situation that now I have to be involved in because my life and business is IN this storage facility. What a NIGHTMARE of a person! Who in their right mind talks w customers, this way???? This man is projecting, and itβs frightening. Disgusting; NO humanity just abuse of power. I made several reports to corporate about this particular incident and never received a call back. This in itself is alarming that this abusive bully seems to have that much power within the company that his actions and threats are not questioned or investigated!
My experience at this facility has been wonderful. The place is clean and safe. I would recommend this place for everyone I also help cleaning up around the place π
Updated to my original 1 star review: The store manager got in touch with me and walked me through how they prorate the 50% discounts over 60 days. So they stick to their word on the 2 months at a discounted rate. I wish the communication was better upfront, because they did tell me I'd be paying full price for August. But they were great about following back up with me after I pointed out the issue. Original review: If you rent from here I would make sure you talk with someone who is physically at the office. I'm moving from 2 time zones away so when I called I got their corporate call center and rented through them. Well they assured me th... Well of coarse the next morning I get a call from the local office and they tell me that's not the case and I'd have to pay full price for August. Instead of making it right they of coarse blamed me the customer for not calling during normal business hours, as if I'm supposed to know about the disconnect between their local and corporate office! Typical BS from these companies, point the finger at everyone but themselves.
