I first gave a 5 star review when I was leaving. I was on a job from Raleigh (70 miles away) and 2 miles down the road from Steve's auto my check engine light starting flashing and things got pretty bad. I came in to get a spark plug changed out and nothing was done or tested. I called Ali back and he said he was in Wilson and his repairman was at the shop and would not take time to fix their mistake until Monday (2 days away and additional costs). I parked my truck in an Autozone parking lot and went on youtube/chatGPT to fix it myself. I was in the parking lot until 2am-3am at night but fixed it so I could drive back without a flashing check engine. They said they were diagnosing the spark plug but when I opened it up, it was very easy to see that they didn't even look to see that the spark plug was rusted and there was a plastic piece stopping the plug from removal. For a shop that does repairs all the time, it's easy to fix a spark plug and should only be a 30 minute fix for one. It took me 4-5 hours of diagnosing, watching videos, researching, and purchasing tools to fix it myself in a sketchy parking lot but I did it.
