Great experience from beginning to end. Finding the slab we wanted for our kitchen countertops, coordinating where the cuts would be for the joint and the sink, to scheduling the installation; not one glitch or hiccup. And the installment team was professional and friendly from the moment they walked in our home. Provided great information about care and cleaned up after. Would use Sheppard’s again in a heartbeat!
It took 3 months to have kitchen counter tops replaced. The guy that came to measure just showed up one day.....with no appointment set up. No communication with me.
I would definitely recommend Sheppard 's countertop. They r top notch. Ms Beth is a jewel. She help me with picking out Quartzite countertop and my back splash .She was knowledgeable and very patient. Mr Jamie was great and his team did an excellent job installing countertop.
Was very pleased with the purchase 1st time, however, we installed island top ourselves. 2nd time, we purchased counter tops for kitchen and bathrooms. We only wanted to replaced the Formica with Quartz. We wanted to keep the bathroom sinks with faucets still installed as they were top quality and like new. By the time the crew left for the day, saying they would be back, they had chipped/broken, 2 bathroom sinks. As we looked at the bathrooms, see picture below. Instead of the crew explaining that I needed to take the drawers out and move them to another room and cover, I spent $200. getting someone in to help me unload, wash, wipe and replace. If I had known there would be grinding, and white powder everywhere, I would have covered things. I was told all the holes, etc would be done before they came. Even so they should have used a vacuum system on their grinders. The owner of the company called the next day and said "NO One would be back". We had to make a round trip 4 hour trip to pick the replacement sinks up. He sent pictures via phone, and we thought these matched. They did not, as it was hard to tell. Finally he had a guy to meet me 1 hour round trip to pick up the sinks, I opened one and said OK, my frustration at a high. My husband had to reinstall faucets and fittings, which should have been easy to set in, if we had used our sinks & faucets. Open sink box#2 sink was cracked, called owner, he said we had to go to Benton to pick up another. 4 hour drive. We now have cracked ceramic tile, ripped cabinets, the cooktop was not attached and our butcher block island had lots of scratches from their tools, etc. This was a night mare, as we had company coming in a few days. The Quartz is beautiful, but getting our house back in order after they left took weeks and extra time and money.
So far so Good.
We picked a piece from the boneyard for a small project and we were still treated as well as someone that was shopping for an entire kitchen. $300 job vs $3,000 job.
This tells me that they appreciate all of their customers, and that counts.
If we ever decide to do a big job, we will definitely give them the first shot at it.
We expect the final install to be great and will update once complete.
