Update: We asked them to create a gym in an unfinished part of our downstairs. And it is perfect! They were amazing! They did a fantastic job inside and out. Will definitely be using them again.

I have had nothing but issues and headaches dealing with anything home improvement that the thought of hiring anyone seems to always result in issues of feels like some kind of hustle. So I contacted several local companies to paint areas that were unpainted but also paint what another company damaged. I was so impressed with the initial consult I cancelled the other estimates. I am super pleased with how everything turned out. From the initial consult with the owner to the employees performing the work, the entire process was seamless and far exceeded the expectations I had. Also unlike a lot of companies they don't require payment before they do they actually do the work. Tje Paintwork employees did an amazing job, cleaned up after themselves and I barely even noticed they were working at my home. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Sharp Paintworx as they are true professionals and masters in their craft!

Landon Barnard of Sharp Paintworx and Kitchen Solvers of Greater Cincinnati is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unable to communicate appropriately with clients. From our initial meeting, he was friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to assist us in remodeling our kitchen. Once we paid him the deposit of half the quoted costs, Landon disappeared for an entire month, and our calls and texts went unanswered. After finally returning our calls, he was ready to demolish our kitchen the next week, even though the cabinets we ordered had not been delivered yet. We were told they’d be delivered within the next week. Only later did we discover that he ha... From our initial meeting, he was friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to assist us in remodeling our kitchen. Once we paid him the deposit of half the quoted costs, Landon disappeared for an entire month, and our calls and texts went unanswered. We were told they’d be delivered within the next week. Only later did we discover that he hadn’t even placed the cabinet order until after demolition began. Landon is a smooth talker; however, he tends to speak without considering whether what he is saying is actually true. After clarifying our expectations for regular and timely communication, Landon did his best to adhere to our standards. However, his ability to communicate regularly (at the end of each working day) lasted roughly 24 hours. When confronted and asked to communicate more effectively, he became defensive, argumentative, and blamed us for “having an attitude”. After a few weeks of minimal communication AND his not taking responsibility for having placed the order incorrectly, he told my wife and me that we’d have to pay more than the contractually obligated deposit for our kitchen countertop to be ordered – despite his own contract stating that we pay 50% deposit (which we did) and the rest upon completion of the project. Ultimately, we decided to part ways with Landon (of Sharp Paintworx and Kitchen Solvers of Greater Cincinnati) and find a new contractor. If you value honesty, transparency, clear, and timely communication from contractors you’ve hired, then DO NOT hire Landon Barnard. If you’re okay with being swindled, smooth-talked, and gaslighted and don’t mind having your home in disarray for months on end, go with him.
