^Warning^ -Long Post Alert Please run and do not get your phone(s) fixed here!! I brought my phone (Samsung Ultra that is less than six months old) in for a simple screen repair. There were no battery or back cover issues when I dropped it off. I was told it would be ready at 1 PM, then 3 PM, and when I returned at 3 PM he hadn’t even started on it because he said he was busy all day (very unprofessiona and he sells jewelry, and several other things) Right before closing, to pick my phone up I was told the battery had “moisture” and swelled, and now the back wouldn’t go back on. He admitted Samsung Ultras are hard to open and said he tried using adhesive to make it stay down. But, he could not get it. When I questioned the damage, he became unprofessional and started yelling and said let me see something and took my phone back. I called another repair man (while still there) who told me this information about my phone was not accurate and told me that on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the back glass is strongly glued on. It requires heat and careful separation. If too much pressure is used, the back can bend, crack internally, or lose its original seal. I was also told that a swollen battery does not “Suddenly” swell and said battery swelling happens gradually over time and you can physically see it (Visible) before opening the phone (screen lifting, back separating). That's when the owner ( repairman) comes from the back with my phone and start saying Here! Here! it was not the battery and it was just a glitch! He then proceeds to give me my phone back and says it was fixed. Then start saying that he is an engineer and he builds computers and that he knows what he is doing and I jumped to conclusions. Well this how my phone currently looks the the same night. Does it look like I jumped to conclusions I only authorized a screen repair and left with a damaged phone. I would recommend getting a second opinion before using this shop...Run!!
