ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Do not call anyone else!!!!! They are amazing!! Such a stressful morning went to the basement and almost broke my neck when I slipped on the water that was quickly filling my basement. It sounded like a waterfall behind the wall! Terrifying!!! Cathy was extremely sweet and helpful on the phone, took care of EVERYTHING! They were at my house in literally like 5 mins! I’m not from here and so I have no experience with any companies. After frantically calling other places and they were all unable/unwilling to help until the next day… I thankfully found Salyer to the rescue!! The two magician plumbers Jake & Rob were amazing a... I would have given a zero but not an option. I have used Salyer many times over the years. I was transferred by a gentleman to a scheduler. The woman that answered told me she was on a chat laughing and slurping a beverage. Very unprofessional and did not call me back until this morning. Sadly, Salyer this one interaction spoke volumes of your customer service representative. Same woman called me today to schedule. Already found someone else.
It’s hard to find a company that you’re impressed with, which is why I’m writing this review. First and foremost this is a family company, which has roots in the region for 100 years. How cool is that? Them being in business for that long tells you they’re doing something right. I called Salyer plumbing early this year as my water main broke. They came out that day to do an assessment. The person that came out was friendly, courteous, and empathetic. He told me to expect a call later that day, which I did. The owner called me and explained everything and sent over quotes. She was very understanding and answered every question I had. This mean... This meant the world to me as I’m a first time home owner and this was all new to me. The crew came out did a wonderful job without destroying my yard. Other companies wanted to dig out the yard while Salyer could do most of it with a small hole. I highly recommend this company. Support a local family owned business, you won’t regret it.
Phenomenal job! The plumbing work needed in our home was extensive. Replacement of pipes and upgrading a system that was 100 years old. We needed work done that was well outside our ability. We wanted to add a bathroom in the basement and a laundry room where there wasn’t any. ‘WOW’ Salyer, made it happen. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The team of technicians that worked in our home were amazing. They had to dig and were in a small space but cleaned up daily their work area. We were so impressed by the quality of the work, time, and cost of this project. Thank you Salyer for your excellent service.
Be sure to ask if they are sending a licensed plumber to your home. They charge licensed plumber prices but may send an apprentice, alone. I agreed to their pricing, expecting a plumber. Came out quickly, but sent an apprentice alone. Sump pump was bubbling up in floor drain of crawl space. 5 hours of looking for the problem, there was no answer. $850. Had them back out to install back flow valve to stop water from coming up in drain, another $650 and alone apprentice. I have nothing against apprentices, they have to learn, but should be working with a licensed plumber in person. After $1500, hope the problem is solved. The apprentice was ver...
