Salem Hydraulics

Simply stated, I would not recommend this shop. Pricing unreasonably and questionably high, they don’t listen and after overpaying we’re left with the same same leak-down issue on the tractor bucket and the jack still leaks. We told them which cylinders we thought were leaking on the tractor, and after paying $1800 for new seals in the tractor rams and a separate hydraulic jack, we then get the tractor back and learned they put new seals in the other cylinders, and we are left with the same issue. Hi-lift jack leaks as it did prior. Maybe an anomaly, but don’t think so or they would have tried to make things right. Feel taken advantage of and do not plan to return. I hope they serve others effectively and with integrity.

Do not bring your boom vehicles here. They do not have techs that know how to trouble shoot problems. They will charge you for the hours and hours of work just for you to get your vehicle back and have continued problems. I've had 3 vehicles here and will not be returning. I've had to take all 3 of the vehicles to another hydraulic mechanic to have them actually fixed without a new or different problem occurring after spending thousands of dollars while having a boom down. As far as other hydraulic services they probably do good with a 4 stars. I'll never find out though.

HORRRRRRIBLE Experience... had my ATV for over a month and paid 1100.00 for nothing. get it home, suppose to be fixed and all it does is start and then dies.. backfires over and over... DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE RUN FROM THIS BUISNESS.. they are not ethical... they were suppose to fix it and said it was finished and running... now they say "not our problem" if I could I would stop payment on the check i paid with!!!!!!
