The best. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable about all matters related to car maintenance and upkeep. Everyone is professional and thorough. Easy to schedule appointments, and they give you price quotes before doing anything. Definitely best option for European car maintenance issues in the area!
I have a C63 AMG mercedes. I only take my car to Rob'e Mans. They perform excellent work. They have great customer service and support. Ashley Bryars is awesome. She is very attentive and knowledgeable.
I’m leaving this review specifically for the poor customer service I received from a mechanic named Michael. The front desk receptionist, as always, was polite and professional, so this is not about her.
I’ve been a loyal customer here for two years and have had several seamless repairs, until this last experience. Two months after my battery was replaced here, it died. When I called, Michael answered and bluntly told me I either needed a new battery or alternator, but refused to provide any price point. He clearly didn’t check my customer history or take the time to explain things properly.
When I dropped off my car, the receptionist reassured me that my battery was under warranty and that they would look into the cause of the drain. At that point, I felt optimistic again. But when I later received a bill of nearly $900 just for an inspection, I was shocked.
When I called for clarification, Michael again answered. He said labor was $225 an hour but could only say it “might” take more or less time. The issue wasn’t just the price, it was his tone and dismissiveness. I asked why the problem wasn’t caught earlier, and expressed that the customer service was unacceptable. Instead of showing accountability or empathy, he defensively replied, “Great, you can do that. Just know we can’t replace your battery under warranty again.”
That response sealed my decision never to return. Even a simple explanation or apology would have gone a long way. Clearly, to Michael I was just a number, not a valued customer. I will not be bringing my car back here and hope that this mechanic learns better customer service skills in the future.
