We walked in and met with an older gentleman he was very kind and explained things to me that I didn’t even know. He sold us a GE washer and we love it! But we wanted to speak on how we were treated they were amazing the customer services was top notch and that hard to find now days and they also have warranty’s on the washers they. I have highly recommend them.
I was checking out upright freezers. I intend to go back to buy a freezer. It's a small local business. The prices seem reasonable. The manager was very considerate. It's in a strip mall not far from Hoss's on White St. I liked the place very much.
The salesman that was working on 10/30/25 at 2pm should be taught how to welcome a customer. After waiting in the parking lot for him to return from his 1:50 break, I walked in with no greeting he just stared at me. When I told him I was looking for a fridge he still couldn’t welcome me and was rude about why I came in. Buying a new fridge, microwave and oven isn’t simple and needs a lot of explaining. There is no way this man could have helped me. I walked out. I’m so thankful I did because the appliance store on North George St in York was stellar. When I walked in, they said Hi then then politely helped me. Go there. Not here. If I was the owner I would look at the security cameras at 1:52pm and see for yourself.
I visited this store on Thursday and was shocked by the lack of customer service. Three sales representatives were standing together in conversation when I walked in. Not one of them greeted me or offered assistance. Even after one turned, made eye contact, and then chose to continue talking, I was still ignored. I walked out and immediately went to Home Depot, where I purchased appliances for my 11-unit apartment building. If a store can’t provide even the most basic courtesy of a greeting, I won’t be returning — and I won’t recommend it to anyone else!
I had purchased a dishwasher from Riddles & they were great @ helping me with my families needs earlier this year. When the time came for a new dryer, I knew just where I needed to go. Their customer service is excellent. The owner has a wealth of knowledge on all things appliances. The owner, Mitch was kind, patient & very helpful just like before. He helped explain to me what I didn't understand & wanted to know about dryers, & the problems I was having with our current one. I had a great experience today & enjoyed talking to him for an hour about all things dryers, & talking about our families too. I will be trying to troubleshoot our current dryer situation @ home first with the tips he gave me to try before purchasing a new dryer from them. He didn't have to do that & could have talked his way right into a sale but.... he was honest with me & gave me ideas to try first which I appreciate. I trust Riddles for my appliance needs & prefer them over the big box stores like The home depot etc. bc you can't get a wealth of knowledge from those types of stores. Big box stores only care about making a sale & may not know all of the answers to your questions. Support locally. Support family owned businesses. Thanks again Mitch.
