Too many times I’d gone to the crawlspace after a hard rain to find water that I had to bail out with small vessels or soak up with old towels. The sand bags that I had placed around the water heater and also outside along the wall of my 105-year-old house didn’t work. After getting estimates from five contractors, I chose Alex Lopez and Reliable Solutions Atlanta. He came across as smart, knowledgeable, personable, professional and honest. He didn’t try to upsell me on a job. But he did identify several related problems I had in the crawlspace that made me realize I had to address the total problem, not just water on the floor on the west side. Other contractors also pointed out some of my related issues, but Alex gave me an estimate that covered all of them, for pretty near the same cost. Ultimately, he addressed water remediation with backup protection; mold remediation; concrete construction to stop erosion; dehumidification; encapsulation, structural support for a wood joist and wood flooring with installation of three posts and an i-beam; installation of an electrical outlet; and sealing the crawlspace. He also hauled away junk I’d needed to clear out years ago! As it happened, my next-door neighbor needed to address some similar problems in the crawlspace of his old house. He got estimates from four of the contractors I’d contacted. And although we did share and compare notes, he independently concluded that Alex Lopez had the best plan for the best price for him, too. The Reliable Solutions team was prompt and well, reliable, and included Alex’s brothers, who also have years of experience in this business. So now my neighbor and I can’t believe the transformation we’ve had in our old crawlspaces!

His prices are very reasonable (unlike other well known companies that advertise on the radio and tried to rip me off by doing unnecessary work). It rained heavily since then, and our basement has been dry. I highly recommend Reliable Solutions to have any basement waterproofing type repairs done. I just had the repairs completed recently, so will update my review every year to keep everyone updated. The Service that was performed at my house by Reliable Solutions Atlanta was Water-damage-related cleanup & Repair. They also did Encapsulation, Mold Removal, and concrete work. They put in a new side walk area after the water mitigation. My new concrete side walk is beautiful...excellent and stellar!!!
