Made a huge mistake in going with this company for our deck project. The work was sloppy and rushed and 0 attention to detail was paid. The scope of the project was also not properly quoted so out project doubled in budget (should have been my first red flag). Called the company and asked the owners to come out twice. Jessica said that she would make sure I was satisfied and not let the crew leave until we were but didn’t offer to come look for themselves when I asked. Me being completely satisfied would have been to rip it all out and start again which no one can afford to do so what are we supposed to do? Many people in the neighborhood have asked about our experience and my response is the same. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want it to look good, be on time or come in on budget. We are so disappointed and sad we spent so much money and are so unhappy with the result. UPDATE: Brian and one of his workers came out to look at the job (finally) and confirmed it was not to their standard. Brian did his best to make it right but in the end, he basically told his worker he needed to move on. So what was once a really ugly job was now a decent job but not over the finish line. I ended up hiring another company to come fix and finish the last bit of the job - (Stephen and Shaun from Fix Home Projects). They were pretty mad looking at the quality of work that had been done but managed to get everything fixed and looking decent again. Fun Fact: I thought about pursuing legal action before Brian offered to fix the deck and the FIRST attorneys office I called, the paralegal asked “May I ask which company” and when I shared she was not surprised at all. Turns out the attorney and his wife were already suing them for a terrible whole home renovation gone wrong and it would have been considered a conflict of interest for them to also represent me. Run!
