Rainbow Restoration of Sioux Falls

No one ever wants to be in a situation where they have to call a restoration company—dealing with a flooded house is stressful and exhausting. Unfortunately, we’ve had to deal with multiple floods over the years, but the one thing that has consistently made those situations easier is having Rainbow to call. Their team has always arrived quickly, handled the cleanup and restoration professionally, and made sure everything was done the right way. What really makes it easy, though, is how seamlessly they manage the insurance process. They take care of the communication, guide us through what to expect, and remove so much of the stress that normally comes with filing a claim. While I hope we never have another flood, I’m genuinely grateful to have Rainbow to rely on. They’ve been a lifesaver more than once, and I highly recommend them.

My experience with Rainbow Restoration was extremely disappointing. They first came to my home on October 3rd, and the project still wasn’t completed until November 20th—an unacceptable timeline for the type of work that was needed. I had to constantly follow up just to keep anything moving, and the scheduling and coordination from the office were completely disorganized. A few days before they were coming back to my house, I even received a call asking for the status of my project, as if the project manager hadn’t been keeping notes on my account. I also called to speak with a general manager about my concerns and never received a call back. To make things worse, Rainbow Restoration didn’t even perform the main work in my home—the asbestos remediation team did—yet I was still charged over $1,300. The charge didn’t include repairing the wall with drywall or plaster afterward. When I asked about it, I was told it was handled by a different department, would require another inspection fee, and they couldn’t give me any idea of their availability. I made it clear from the beginning that I did not want to do any of the repairs myself, so I don’t understand why the project manager didn’t coordinate all necessary services ahead of time. Now I’m left to either do the wall repairs myself or hire someone else, because I absolutely refuse to use this company again. While the technician who came out was great—professional, friendly, and thorough—the rest of the experience was terrible. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Our downstairs kitchen/office space got damaged and flooded with sewage water due to backed up pipes. The pipes ended up bursting, and we did not have any clue on what to do so we called Rainbow Restoration. Their team did an amazing job on making sure everything was cleared and cleaned out!!! They were here for a couple of days just tearing down what was damaged by the sewage water and cleaning every corner. The team did an absolute amazing job restoring our downstairs kitchen/office. Communication was awesome. They let us know step by step what they were going to do and did everything they could to try to salvage some of our materials that were downstairs. Thank you, Rainbow, for all your help!

I would like to share my experiences with rainbow restoration. We have the water damage on occasions to have to use them twice, but that being said the service and the customer care and quality is unsurpassed. Megan the owner and then her coworkers, Nate Bri and Tori were unbelievable. They laid down plastic they were respectful of my home. They were respectful of my pets. They cleaned up after themselves. The communication between us was excellent as I had to put pets away before they would come over leave doors, unlocked, etc. etc. I can’t say enough good about this company When you’re going through something as bad as water damage and finding out it has each thing is removed. It gets worse and worse. This is your company. They will not remove their equipment until every last floorboard and wall and surface is completely dried out! Thank you again Megan and your crew. You guys are amazing. I hope we don’t meet you again ha ha but if we do, you are our first line of restoration calls ! SG
