Highly recommended!! This necklace has great sentimental value to me. I accidentally broke it one day, and the break was in the center of one of the sides of the chain. I took it into a shop in Palatine and they did a horrendous, embarrassing job “fixing” the necklace. They put a link that was about three times the size of all the other links on to reattach the chain and said to me that “you can’t even tell”, you could CLEARLY see the difference! Ew, I was so upset. So then I searched around for another jewelry repair shop and found Quality Jewelry Design in Bloomingdale… I called and told the lovely lady that I spoke to, who is the owners sister (family owned business), my horror story and she assured me that they would be able to repair it, and it would look as if it did when it was new. They did NOT disappoint!! Art is the owner, and let me tell you he did an amazingly wonderful fantastic job! I can’t even find where it was broken and repaired. He took his time to solder it and did not do a “cheapy” fix. I am above and beyond satisfied and so happy that I have my necklace in the exact condition it was first given to me. And to top it off the repair was extremely affordable. I will recommend Art and his sister and their business to anyone and everyone I know who has any jewelry needs. I met Art as walk up customer , I told him what type of ring I imagine when I think of my upgraded engagement ring and he delivered. His sister works with him & she is super helpful as well. From the design to curation of the diamond to final product the whole process was seamless. Fair price too . I see him as the creator and her as the sales person :) . Very nice people . They will be moving soon to another location. I highly recommend. Thank you !
