Pursell Lutherie

I went to get the action changed on my guitar and decided to go from metal to nylon strings. Not a crazy in depth thing, estimated 3 weeks. I called at week 4, week 6 and finally week 8. Each time the same young guy told me it was in the lineup. I waited two months and had to call to find out it was ready, when I went to pick it up no one even acknowledged the time it took. The work they did was fine, but the waiting and lack of communication was not.

I visited this local shop for the first time about a month ago. I always drive by it but never stop in, as most general music stores do not sell what I’m looking for…but I was wrong about this place! Not only did they have exactly what I needed, but they even went above and beyond in setting me up with a customer profile for special ordering items. I even got a call about a week or two ago in regard to my special order. These guys really care about their customers!! Can’t wait to pay them another visit soon!

Last summer my son obtained a "free" violin from a program at his school. Free is on quotation marks because free instruments seem to always cost me money somehow! 😂 Every time we've needed help with anything violin related we've gone to Pursell Lutherie. Every time we've received friendly service, got our questions answered, the prices are reasonable and my kiddo enjoys just hanging out, checking out the instruments and chit chatting. No complaints here! The only thing that would make it better for us is if they offered violin lessons in house.
