Prime Roofing

We recently chose Prime Roofing for our new roof and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. We went with Owens Corning Duration Designer shingles in Black Sable, and the finished product looks outstanding — clean lines, sharp contrast, and a true architectural upgrade to the home. What really set Prime apart was their contract and overall professionalism compared to the other companies we evaluated. Their proposal was detailed, transparent, and clearly spelled out materials, underlayment, scope of work, and installation standards. There were no vague allowances or gray areas — which gave us real confidence before signing. Also no deposit required! Others wanted alot up front, one had a “I will sue you for a negative review clause” and another wanted full payment when the permit was pulled (before work even started!) Andrew was the overall contact for me and he was great. The crew was well organized and Andy was the lead carpenter and did a great job with Ascend siding (lasts forever) for the chimney. The chimney/wind cap was custom and turned out great (see pictures)! Everyone was respectful of the property, and the project moved exactly as outlined. If you’re comparing roofing quotes and looking closely at who to choose, Prime Roofing stands out. You may see older reviews (>5 years old) saying there were nails found after Prime left. I found 1 nail in the crack of a paver. If you are a homeowner and expecting absolute perfection, good luck to you. If you are a homeowner who wants an outstanding roof at a competitive price and is willing to walk around the house for 20 minutes to see if you can find a nail after Prime Roofing leaves, give them a call. Prime Roofing is highly recommended.

I am very glad we chose Prime roofing. They gave us a quote about $15,000 less than the other quote we received. I also liked that they fabricate their own metal roofing. I was able to talk to the owner of the company, Mark, many times over the phone and he answered all of my questions. The installation went well. His team worked very hard in the summer heat (from before 8a until after 6p some days) and got it done in the time quoted. They were respectful of the property. They did a great job working well with other contractors that were working on the property at the same time. I liked everyone on their team that I met from the different stages of the process from quoting to install to cleanup. I strongly recommend their team. The roof looked so good, one person that came by after the roof install and exterior painting thought we had a new house even though it's 35 years old! :)
