I ordered two used cameras from their sale. I got a great deal on them and the condition was great. I was sent the wrong camera initially, but Dylan and Ali were very responsive and worked with me to get the right camera. Overall, great experience. I'll definitely have to stop into the store when I am in town.

Precision camera is the best camera store in Austin, and has been for a long time. They’ve expanded and now carry a wide array of A/V equipment, in addition to cameras. They also have a good selection of printers and printer paper, and a large selection of camera bags and hard cases. They have good selection of gimbals, and they used to carry DJI drones, but I didn’t see any the last couple of times I was there so I’m not sure if they still carry them. Most of the people who work here are very knowledgeable And this is a great resource if you have questions. They have a large selection of classes and a large, ever changing selection of used c...

I’ve been trying to return a lens I’ve purchased from them but they keep giving me the run around when I ask for a return label. I’ve called them everyday since I only have 14 days to return it but they always suggest that the one person that can send me the label “just left for the day”. I’m not sure why they even bother maintaining an online storefront if they only have one person that knows how to process a return. It looks like I’m going to have drive 3 hours to return this lens now. You’re better off taking your business to B&H if you want competent customer service.

My Nikon D7000 has been 'playing up' recently, effectively signs of old age. I took it in for a checkup and from the entrance door to the technicians' area, my wife and I were welcomed time after time with genuine warmth. The store is logically and clearly laid out with ranges of photographers' requirements. We waited our turn for a technician who suggested we return in a few minutes, which we did, for his verdict. He gave a general thumbs up that except for age, our equipment was in good shape. It's gratifying to find a store which gives professional advice in a friendly setting.
