Do NOT hire this company. Unfortunately I am currently going through a mechanic lien with this terrible company. I hired them to put in a new service at my location. They failed two inspections, and even after an approval Dominion Energy still found many problems wrong and refused to connect power. While on my property the employees smoked weed and clearly incompetent with their trade, and left all of their trash from the job. After Dominion refused power, I didn't trust Powerful Electric to to fix the problems. I contacted another company, Mister Sparky, to fix everything. If you're looking for an electrical company, contact Mister Sparky. After the fact, Mister Sparky did confirm Powerful Electrical overcharged me for the job like crazy.

Dispatch sent out a technician for an emergency on a weekend evening to my daughters home due to a water heater outage. I agreed to pay the $295 fee and when they got there to run a diagnostic it was over $275 and then they discovered that the garbage disposal was bad and that the fuel light on the water heater had blown out according to the diagnostics. We told them that we would replace our own disposal and they re-lit the pilot light on the water heater for another $275 + dollars. I had initially given dispatch my credit card which they charged a total of over $800 for the Emergency to come out plus the diagnostic fee plus to relight the pilot light. there was no report saying what could’ve caused the pilot light to go out and what it the water heater could possibly need in order for it not to go out again whether that be a cleaning or some type of maintenance. I never heard from them. I just noticed the following morning through an email that they had charged my card almost $800. When I called a few days later after the weekend had passed, I inquired on these charges because I thought that was quite excessive. They said they would have the technician contact me and they never did nor have I heard from anyone from that company since. I would consider hiring a different company and I will never use them again.
