I purchased a new home and 1 day after purchasing the home, the oven stopped working. I contacted my home warranty company who assigned this contractor. He came to my home and said he would return in 2-3 days to replace the circuit board of the oven. I did not hear from him for over 2 weeks. When I finally spoke to him, he apologized and stated he was waiting to hear from his friend to help him because the oven repair is a "two person" job. He then contacted me and stated he will come with a friend on July 28. On July 28, his friend called me to say he was busy installing a washing machine for another customer and had another job afterwards a... When I finally spoke to him, he apologized and stated he was waiting to hear from his friend to help him because the oven repair is a "two person" job. He then contacted me and stated he will come with a friend on July 28. On July 28, his friend called me to say he was busy installing a washing machine for another customer and had another job afterwards and therefore would not be available. We rescheduled for July 29. Today, he and his friend came to my home and then informed me that the oven cannot be repaired because it is heavy. The purpose of me waiting several weeks was because he stated he needed a 2nd person to help him with the oven because of the size and weight. Now, he and his friend say it is not their job to move or lift the oven and that they are only supposed to repair it. I do not know how this is an appliance repair contractor who does not move or lift the appliances in order to complete the repair. This "company" consists of 1 individual who uses his cell phone to communicate with customers and his personal car to go to customers' homes. The address on file is his home address. This is not a reputable or professional business at all and I would not recommend that anyone use him. The communication is poor and the service is nonexistent.
