My husband and me are happy with our kitchen remodel by PI Kitchen & Bath(PKB), and I want to start by giving a special shout-out to Cansu (Fairfax Store Manager & Designer). To be honest, communication became quite stressful for us after the initial signing, but once Cansu stepped in to coordinate, everything changed. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and clarity about next steps were exactly what we needed. She truly made the entire process smoother and allowed us to finally breathe a sigh of relief. Before choosing PKB, I met with five different companies, but Brian F. Brene was the one who won us over. I was hesitant at first, but Brian’s expertise was evident. He worked within our existing structure to create a perfectly optimized open-concept design. He took the time to walk us through the structural details—like the wall we wanted to remove wasn’t load-bearing and why certain layout adjustments were necessary. That level of transparency gave us great confidence, and the significant discount he offered made the project fit comfortably within our budget. The project itself ran from September to early-November, which was right on schedule. Our PM, Marlon, was dedicated and stayed in touch almost daily; I could tell he was genuinely putting in his best effort. Whenever quality concerns arose, Bryan (Project Director) was quick to step in, either providing clear explanations or coming on-site to inspect and coordinate solutions personally. This level of involvement from the leadership was very reassuring. We’ve already utilized their warranty service twice—once for a small disposal leak and once for a minor flooring crack. In both instances, they addressed the issues within a reasonable timeframe. One area where the company could further improve is in project management structure and transparency. During execution, we did not receive a clearly defined project timeline, milestone breakdown, or checklist outlining what would be completed and inspected at each stage. Most updates came through day-to-day messages about what had been done or what might happen next, but there wasn’t a comprehensive view of the overall schedule from start to finish. From a client perspective, having a structured, client-facing digital timeline and milestone tracking system would make the process feel more organized and predictable. I believe this would also significantly reduce communication pressure — much of the stress came not from the team’s effort, but from the lack of visibility into the bigger picture. Implementing a more modern project management system would elevate the overall experience and make communication more seamless. No remodel is ever 100% stress-free, but given the fair pricing, the beautiful final result, and the reliable warranty support, the overall value is GOOD! I’m happy to give them a 5-star rating.
