When in Bismarck, ND - The renovation is completed. Stamart is now a One9 truckstop, with a Marlins restaurant and bakery and Cheap Shots bar. Showers and bathroom and the store itself have been completely remodeled. Needless to say in the old days, this place rocked, now with a fresh facelift, this place will rock on, even more.
I stopped there for a two day break and was impressed. Newly remodeled friendly staff, Clean Showers little lounge area but wasn't busy, washer dryers like usual. Only thing was, when I exchanged my propane tanks, staff was very helpful and offered to carry one to the vehicle, but the tanks were also half empty, got about 4 hours out of them and yes they did feel a little lite but thought maybe it was just me. And of course when I reached my destination 200 miles away was when I found out. But again, not the fault of staff, as I am sure they would have switched for filled ones. I will be stopping back there when I am on my back East. Good peo... I stopped there for a two day break and was impressed. This truck stop has a ton of stuff to offer, wow get ready to shop. They have a convenience store, bakery, restaurant and even a bar all in one. Truckers dream stop. Oh and I believe they said the restaurant is open 24/7 they had good food too! They do offer showers as well. The place seemed to be pretty clean too. From the looks of it the parking lot could hold about 75 trucks. We pulled in at 9:30 at night and there were still 3 spots open. Hallelujah! Staff was very friendly and courteous. We will be stopping here again on our travels! Oh and for all the truckers out there, it has been bought out by Pilot but they are still keeping the Sta...
