We took a one hundred year old, intricately carved table, with extensive water damage to the veneer top to Old World Refinishing for an estimate. The owner looked at it and within minutes assessed the situation and gave us a quote and 4-6 week timeline. In less than 3 weeks he called to say it was done. The completed job could not have been better! This table has been in the family since its initial purchase and we have never seen it looking like new. Steve has 50 years of experience refinishing furniture. He is a straightforward guy who gets right to the point. He doesn’t strike me as the type to spend hours responding to email inquiries seeking a detailed explanation as to how he is going to the get the job done, like some reviewers apparently requested and ultimately gave him a one star review - based not in his wood working skills and abilities but on his no nonsense email replies. We highly recommend Old World Refinishing. He does a great job on severely damaged / missing parts of veneers. We drove a 4 hour round trip to get the job done and would take more to him.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! After a flood damaged our rosewood coffee table we decided to have it refinished rather than replace it. It was practically destroyed from all of the water that poured on it. Old World did an AMAZING job. It looks like it just came from the store. We also had our rosewood hutch damaged (not water, moving damage) and took it at the same time. Steven and crew were able to fix the damage, as well as sun damage from years of sun exposure. It also looks like it just came off the truck 20+ years ago. We were quoted 2-3 weeks, and both were done before! When the movers that the store arranged brought back both items, we sent our 100+ year old cedar chest for refinishing as well!!! You can’t put a price on excellent work!

I had a oak table and chairs just refinished. Had so many memories to this 25 year old table that I didn't want to part with it. So glad I took it to Old World Refinishing. Steve explained the whole process to me which entailed a lot of work. He kept his promise and the time frame as well do the best job possible. He is a man of integrity ( I can see why he has been in business so long) When I saw my table, I was shocked at his work. It looked like I just bought it. The color was spot on. The finish was perfect. His work is incredible. You can tell he loves what he does by the outcome of his work. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a perfect job done.
