Having worked in property management for several years, I’ve been fortunate to learn quite a bit about maintenance. However, one thing I did not fully realize was the importance of regularly cleaning not only your dryer vents, but also the ductwork throughout your home. During a recent cleaning at my home, the technicians from O’Connor discovered dangerously high carbon monoxide levels. This discovery truly may have saved my life. For the past several weeks, I had been feeling extremely tired and unwell. I even went to the doctor and had blood work done, but everything came back normal. Looking back now, the symptoms—persistent headaches, fatigue, and flu-like feelings—were likely caused by the carbon monoxide exposure. My son and I had both been feeling miserable and couldn’t figure out why. What’s even more concerning is that I had two plug-in carbon monoxide detectors, and neither one alerted us. That alone was a huge wake-up call for me about the importance of having reliable detection and routine HVAC inspections. O'Connor Is amazing! They've helped us twice with our AC and Furnace- once in the summer and once in the winter. Our unit is on the way out and we are just trying to keep it going as long as possible. The team is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about their customers. We really appreciate their professionalism! The tech was up-front with us on costs and gave us an estimate before doing the work. We've needed emergency service both times and they were able to fit us in that day to help. The boss person who answers the phones and schedules his guys is always so kind and listens to our needs to send the right person for the job. We have used O'Connor for over 15 years. Every time I have called, they have been nice, professional, fast, and very good at diagnosing and fixing the problem. We have called over holiday weekends, during heat waves, and when it has been freezing cold. They have always responded and had it fixed within a few hours. They talk and listen to me, where other companies would only listen to my husband. I would give them a thousand stars if I could.
