We highly recommend Tom and NorthStar Homes & Construction. We had our old cedar shake roof removed and replaced with a great quality presidential roof. They were on time, worked very efficiently, and has a great team of hard-working employees who communicate well! Our roof looks fantastic and we are very happy with how it turned out. These guys installed a new metal roof on our home + it was hands down the best construction experience we've ever had. The owner spent a lot of time with me at our initial meeting talking through strategies to fix our leaking roof. I felt really informed about our options without pressure to make a decision. We ended up going with a full metal roof installation, as they were really cost competitive + have a great reputation. The crew was top notch! They worked long days, were very professional, + had excellent attention to detail. They finished ahead of schedule, completely cleaned up the job site, + our metal roof looks absolutely perfect.

Had Northstar install metal roof, gutters and siding 2 years ago. After the first winter the gutters were falling off. Had to complain about it and pay someone to come back out and fix it. 2 years later, gutters are falling off again. I should have hired experts. Won’t make that mistake again.

On Friday 4/8/19 I called NorthStar because I had water leaking in my upstairs bedroom. This company had installed the roof in 2010, and it had a 20 year warranty. A rep came out the following Monday to take a look at the issue. The person that came out Monday morning (Kirk I believe) stated the leaking was coming from around the stove pipe, and that wasn't a roofing issue, I needed to call a different vendor. I thanked him for his time, and attempted to call someone else. Then, I reviewed the contract again, and it states "All flashings included, gables, eve, chimney metal and ridge cap."
