This is the floor company you should use. Period. David and William were responsive, prompt, flexible, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Our home was built in the late 1800s and they approached everything with care and respect. They had stain samples ready to go the SAME DAY they started the job. They were honest in their assessment on what they thought would look best while also respecting our design vision. In addition, they sent photo updates at every stage (post-sanding, post-stain, final product) to ensure we were satisfied throughout. Put your floors in their hands and watch them work their magic!

David and his team at North Jersey Wood Floors did an amazing job restoring and refinishing our 100 year old parquet floors and original douglas fir hardwood. Throughout the project David kept us informed with progress updates and photos. The whole team was kind, kept their workspace organized and our home clean. Dave and his team are amazing! TLDR – while others will tell you to take the easy route, Dave and his team will bring your vision to life. Professional, thorough, communicative, and reasonably priced. A++++!!!! Our Story: We bought a house from 1911 that had original hardwood floors on the first and second floor. However, the multiple flights of stairs and the top floor was covered in horribly old, beige carpet. After ripping out the carpet, lining, and staples, we were excited to see that the original wood still existed underneath. However, the wood was painted/stained black and needed some TLC. Additionally, the top floor was not as in g... Dave and his team are amazing! TLDR – while others will tell you to take the easy route, Dave and his team will bring your vision to life. Professional, thorough, communicative, and reasonably priced. A++++!!!! Our Story: We bought a house from 1911 that had original hardwood floors on the first and second floor. However, the multiple flights of stairs and the top floor was covered in horribly old, beige carpet. After ripping out the carpet, lining, and staples, we were excited to see that the original wood still existed underneath. However, the wood was painted/stained black and needed some TLC. Additionally, the top floor was not as in good condition as we had hoped and there were some holes and broken boards. We began collecting quotes. Across 6 flooring professionals, Dave was the only one who could help. While others said “just replace the floor” or “this will never look good”, Dave took the time to understand our vision and help us execute. We wanted to make the wooden steps really pop and restore (as best as possible) the upstairs hardwood. Dave was honest in his assessment about what could and couldn’t be done. He got creative in his solutions to replace the things that needed to be replaced. He gave us lots of options and was extremely communicative before and during the work. Dave and his team were super thorough in their execution. They were also quite fast, but never compromised on quality. On day one, they had sanded the paint/stain off many of the stairs, put down a few different color samples of stain for us to choose from, and asked for our feedback. We selected a polyurethane-based, natural stain. Within another 3 days they were finished with all the stairs and the entire upstairs floor (including replacing the broken boards). We then asked if they could rebuff and re-coat the first and second floors as a protective measure. Not only did they accommodate and give us a reasonable price – they completed in one day! Dave went above and beyond. He agreed to put down a few pieces of shoe molding that was missing around the house and executed lightning fast. Overall, we highly recommend Dave and his team. They make the impossible possible. When everyone else says “that’s too hard”, these guys get the job done and do it right! Thank you!! -Brian & Dani

Where do I even start?! North Jersey Wood Floors provided exceptional service from day one of our new floor installation. We could not be happier with the results, and we could not be more impressed with the professionalism throughout the entire process. David was fantastic and very helpful during our initial meeting, and communication through the entire project was a breeze. William and the team were punctual every morning and ready to start the day with a smile. They were also accommodating, as we were home for a portion of the installation. The team went way above and beyond with their time and dedication to making our floors look impeccab... Where do I even start?! North Jersey Wood Floors provided exceptional service from day one of our new floor installation.
