I had to replace an old velux skylight in a bathroom and I chose a certified Velux installer rather than a roofer. Dan from sales and Chris the installer helped me choose a replacement of similar size. It helps that Chris did the preliminary measurements etc. I wanted to get the job done before the holidays and and they worked with me. They brought matching roof shingles and the installation was clearly done with skill and experience in one morning by 3 men. I would recommend this company without hesitation. For homeowners in a similar situation you still have to do your homework as this is not a simple job, The Velux web site could be better. My new window also requires Sheetrock changes inside the bathroom which I now have to do separately.

In researching skylight replacement companies, I came across NY Skylight Installers and I'm so happy I found them! From start to finish everyone I spoke to and worked with were professional and knowledgable. Chris and Jorge came to do the installation yesterday and it went flawlessly. The skylight they replaced was an old pyramid type, and this new model is not only UV rated and clearer to see through, but made the whole room quieter from outside noise. We're absolutely thrilled and can highly recommend New York Skylight Installers!

It was a pleasure working with Dan White, Chris Smith, John and George of New York Skylight Installers. They installed a 12 foot, half-round skylight in my parents’ home. It was a large task which going to take two days. But they completed the project under one day. And they were on time and they provided great communication throughout. Chris Smith was very professional and efficient during the initial measuring appointment which took place two months prior to the installation. The team also removed the old, shattered, half-round skylight that was there previously. They cleaned up after themselves, including taking away the old broken skylight and pallettes.
