I dealt with NEMC for my kids school band classes. I felt the rental system is very easy to start and close. They do the instrument drop offs and pickup themselves. The instruments are really good quality. I also thought the call center was very quick in handling any issue.

Purchased a $700 dollar case over 3 weeks before I was supposed to go on tour. Instead of shipping it they kept me in the dark for three weeks. Anytime I called they were extremely courteous and always had an excuse ready as to why they hadn't shipped it. Very unprofessional they lack any sense of urgency, and they certainly don't treat their customers fairly. It's also worth noting that they raised the price of the item by $300 after my purchase. If I had to speculate they hadn't adjusted the price and were DELIBERATELY being slow in hopes I would cancel so they wouldn't have to take the loss. My NEMC experience was excellent. The initial rental process was easy. The rented cello arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. After 6 months, I no longer needed this cello and NEMC sent me a shopping label; the return was as easy an the initial rental process, Thanks for what you do, NEMC.
