I had an excellent experience with National Educational Music Company (NEMC). I rented a drum set for my daughter for her school band, and from the beginning the process has been smooth, professional, and affordable. The instrument we received was in great condition, and I really appreciate the rent-to-own option they offer—it makes it much easier for families. What truly stands out about NEMC is their customer service. Anytime I’ve had a question, it has been easy to reach someone, and they’ve always been helpful and knowledgeable. Today I spoke with Earl, who went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. He was patient, kind, and very professional. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality, affordability, and outstanding customer service the way NEMC does. I highly recommend them to any family looking to rent or purchase instruments.

Purchased a $700 dollar case over 3 weeks before I was supposed to go on tour. Instead of shipping it they kept me in the dark for three weeks. Anytime I called they were extremely courteous and always had an excuse ready as to why they hadn't shipped it. Very unprofessional they lack any sense of urgency, and they certainly don't treat their customers fairly. It's also worth noting that they raised the price of the item by $300 after my purchase. If I had to speculate they hadn't adjusted the price and were DELIBERATELY being slow in hopes I would cancel so they wouldn't have to take the loss. Buy from Shar or Sweetwater but don't waste your time with NEMC. In the end I wound up cancelling the item because it wouldn't even arrive before my tour began. Who knew a month wasn't enough time to ship a case from New Jersey to Florida! hahah

Customer service at NEMC is always above expectations. They are consistently ready to help, find solutions, and resolve any issue quickly and professionally. I’ve been renting instruments for my three kids from them for the past five years, and I’ve never had a single problem. Anytime I have a question or need assistance, they respond promptly and with genuine care. Truly great service — I always recommend them to family and friends!
