TLDR: They no showed the job, and then were rude when given the opportunity to correct it. Detailed post below, texts attached. Look at his responses of low reviews for examples of his professionalism. PS I am not a nazi. I had an appointment scheduled with My Guy Auto Glass today at 10:00 AM for a windshield replacement in Charlestown. Not only did he fail to show up, but there was also no communication to let me know they weren’t coming. I had to reach out multiple times for updates, and each time I was met with shifting excuses about delays, vehicle troubles, and poor service areas. Hours later, after waiting well past the appointment time, I was told the job wouldn’t be completed and that the glass would simply be returned. Instead of taking responsibility for the missed appointment and lack of communication, the response became unprofessional and even rude—at one point I was told, “Sorry you thought the world revolved around you.” When I added my partner, who was the one waiting on-site with our one-year-old, to the group chat for clarity, the technician then tried to claim he had been “disrespected” and again avoided taking responsibility. I corrected him directly, making it clear that no one disrespected him—he was simply being asked to make good on his own business commitment. I am a big proponent of the idea that mistakes happen in business; what truly matters is how those mistakes are corrected. In this case, the opportunity to take responsibility and make things right was completely missed.
