Repair was something that I thought I would have known to do however upon having Josh come out and inspect the dryer, I would have just ended up wasting my time and money. He spent a good amount of time looking at each component to be sure that he wasnt going to have me repair the wrong thing or upcharge me on something unnecessary. He was efficient and when I asked questions he was honest with me. Appreciated his time and service.
Our tech arrived later than originally scheduled but the office had called ahead to confirm that this was ok. Repair was done and the technician was friendly and courteous and finished the job quickly. This was all arranged through Allstate for an extended warranty repair so we had no input on the vendor selected but we are happy with the Mr. Appliance and the repair.
On 12/18 we had them come look at our washer that was giving an error code and locking the door before finishing the cycle. The technician Josh, who was late, said it was the inverter board - $500 total to repair, and that the part would come in 2 to 3 days, and that they would install it 1 to 2 days after it arrived. They came on 12/30 to install it (again arriving late), and after 3 loads by 12/31 it gave the same error code. They scheduled a return trip to diagnose it again for 1/5, with the same technician not showing up during their 9:30 to 11:30 window. I called multiple times to try and get an arrival time, kept getting the runaround, so I called around 2:30pm to cancel the appointment and asked for a refund of the service fee for the repair, and not the part. They said management would call me, so we bought a new washer and dryer on 1/7 and had them haul the old ones away. I just got a call from Mr Appliance today, 1/9, saying that they need to see the washer or they can’t issue a refund. Since they were taken away, I can’t do that, so no refund. If they had told me that needed to happen, I wouldn’t have had the old ones removed. Truly a long drawn out terrible experience.
Mr. Appliance provided excellent service. They were prompt in responding, quickly identified the issue, ordered the necessary parts, and completed the repair efficiently. Josh was incredibly patient in explaining the problem and very considerate throughout the process. Highly recommend their team for any appliance repair needs
Ryan is fantastic. We had a very stubborn dryer repair that required multiple trips. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't give up until we were up and running again. He even went the extra mile to keep costs down. Would absolutely have him out again if needed.
