I had Fernando come to my house to install an outlet outside. He gave me a quote for $400. I agreed to the price and because of availability, he started right away. He was unable to complete the job the same day based on “my house and wiring being old.” He said he had to come back the next day and it would cost me $600 more dollars! I unfortunately didn’t think I could walk away at this point seeing as he was in the middle of the job! He finished the next day and I paid him! Unfortunately, In the next few days and weeks I started experiencing electrical issues which I didn’t think were related. I tried calling Mr. Amp 2 times without a response. About a month later, I had another electrician come. He found out that Fernando has rerouted my electricity and bypassed my fuse box completely! I was told this was very dangerous and I was lucky a fire didn’t happen. The second electrician found the problem and fixed it in 3 hours and charged me $180!!! I do NOT recommend Mr Amp. I know old houses wiring can be tricky but Fernando obviously didn’t have the knowledge to get assigned an old house job. Also, I was majorly OVERCHARGED! My recommendation is to call someone else!!

I messaged Mr. Amp at 9 last night and even though they didn’t have time in their schedule until next week, Jeremy came first thing this morning when he found out I was having refrigerator issues. He couldn’t have been nicer, more professional or more efficient. When he left, I told him he was my new best friend. I’ve had other electricians do work for me before, but Jeremy stands out! He’s the only electrician I will use from now on.
