I’ll begin by saying that the only reason for two stars is because the work was done well. I got a referral from Mike’s body shop. The initial engagement was pleasant enough. He quoted me $325. When I came back to pay it was $345. I asked him if he could explain to me what the increased amount was for. He said” I did it!” Very quickly, he followed with “sales tax.” He was quite harsh, which I was surprised by, That because our engagement up to that point had been pleasant. I am quite pleasant as a customer, because I’ve worked customer service and I appreciate people. When I got home and looked at the receipt, it said $369. I realize he lied to me. He didn’t want to account for the extra $20 saying it was for sales tax when he had not actually added on sales tax. All I can assume is that he doesn’t respect women. I wouldn’t recommend a woman going there. I grew up around an autobody shop. I know how to talk to men who are old school. He had no call to treat me so disrespectfully. The only way I would ever go back as if he apologized and gave me a refund for the extra that he charged me without explanation. I don’t expect to get this apology.
