I got estimates from several companies to install a Generac home standby generator at my home in Monticello and all were similar in price including Mathers; however, all offered a 5 year warranty but Mathers gave a 10 year warranty an also included a surge protector. The other companies charged nearly $800 more to extend the warranty to 10 years. The main reason I went with Mathers was because the owner of the company took the time to explain everything to me an gave me referrals an suggestions to install a propane tank. He never tried to up sell me on anything. No matter how many times I called or texted him he would speak with me-super nice man. He told me my installation would be a month out an that's exactly what happened. Everyone I dealt with at Mathers were super nice an professional, I believe her name is Renee, she helped scheduling etc. she was great. My installer was George Keller, he was just one of the nicest and professional persons I have ever had do work at my house. He asked what I wanted, said I had choices, gave me options an was very patient with me. You could tell he took pride in the work he was doing, very meticulous in every detail of the job. Every time he came to my house he made sure everything was clean before he left too. I am very happy not only with my generator but happy I had Mathers electric do the job-I highly recommend them.
