Dan did a great job restoring my bass. It was easy to schedule service with him. He was prompt to reply, and he was a good communicator and organized. He explained all the work he did and what he did. I would recommend Lakeside guitars, as it was the best service I have received for a guitar.
Bought a slightly used Taylor 814ce, my first acoustic! Took it to Dan to help playability and because it we fairly new, he made some slight adjustments instead of a full setup. Saved me some money and the results are terrific! Dan is both professional and courteous in all his dealings and I highly recommend him and his services.
Dan was very helpful in fixing a damaged guitar that required extensive repair. He took time to do it, but kept me informed about the process and returned the instrument in excellent playing condition! He also was able to quickly address issues with action on my other guitar.
Dan did a great job on a tune up on a 14 year old custom guitar that’s never been serviced before. Now, the guitar has never played and sounded better. Reasonable cost, thorough explanation of the work done and timely turnaround. I’m not disappointed at all and will be back. Thanks Dan!
Dan's among the very best, an honest, experienced and excellent luthier who is a pleasure to do business with. He's done a great job with my 1997 Epiphone Sheraton II and is now doing a setup and replacing the pick guard on my '96 Gibson J-45.
