I don't typically write reviews but Jay and Lake House Builders absolutely deserve one, so here it is. We're currently doing a major project on our home and Jay has been outstanding to work with. Anyone who has dealt with contractors knows how stressful construction can be, especially if you get the wrong one!!! but Jay runs his projects at a completely different level. From the beginning he has been incredibly communicative, transparent, and professional. He explains everything clearly, walks through options, and is very upfront about pricing and scope so there are no surprises. If he says something is going to happen, it happens. What really impressed me is the level of organization and attention to detail. You can tell Jay takes pride in his work and in the reputation of his company. The quality of craftsmanship from his team feels like a luxury level contractor, but he still manages to keep things fair and reasonable when it comes to pricing. Beyond the work itself, Jay is just a genuinely good person and a pleasure to deal with. He's responsive, easy to talk to, and clearly cares about the outcome of the project and his clients' experience. If you're looking for a contractor who is honest, professional, and delivers high-end results, I would strongly recommend Lake House Builders. I'll post pictures when the job is done.

Lake House Builders has set the bar ! After being scammed time and time again from other construction companies my husband and I were extremely nervous to try again but Jay and his team came in and blew our expectations out of the water. We did a WHOLE HOUSE RENO (floors, roof, windows, added sq ft., new stucco etc the whole house !) this was so easy task but Lake House Builders made it simple. Not only was Jay and the team consistently on time but every detail and plan was communicated to us before hand. "The team will be there Monday to go over design and dreams at 9 am" and 9 am Monday they were there and ready to work. The level of professionalism also took us back! Contracts, plans, and expected delivery dates were laid out and met each step of the way. Windows will be delivered 2/11 and guess what showed up... gorgeous windows. We have never had someone upfront, on time and easy to talk with. During design time Jay and the team met us with ideas and helpful options which made the entire process seamless. There are not enough wonderful things to be said about Jay, the team and this process but if I can tell you one thing, trust Lake House Builders with all of your renovations, ADU builds, commercial needs, you won't be disappointed!! I'll keep updating as my house goes, this has been a fun experience and we're over the moon about our new home !
