We’ve now had this excellent company do two projects for us. For the first project Luis Contreras came promptly to give a fair and competitive estimate, then showed up on time to replace our pavement with expertly laid concrete. The second project, several months later, involved enhancing the foundation around an outside basement stairway in preparation for an enclosure to keep out rain. Again, with a prompt and excellent price quote, this was completed expertly and efficiently. Site cleanup was well done and we will definitely use them again for any future projects.
Our project included demolition and installation of a 36' driveway, parking pad, 3 steps, retaining walls, square and rounded curbs. This was a big job!
From the first contact, Luis showed up when he said he would, and returned calls and emails promptly. This was the first indicator that I wanted to work with him. Our goal was to prevent water flow into our property (we live on a hill). He offered suggestions and alternatives to solve this problem.
After about 50% of the job had been completed, I noticed some issues that concerned me. I emailed Luis the items of concern. He came out to the residence the next day, reviewed the areas, and let me know he would take care of it. Within the next few days, all of the issues on my list had been resolved to my satisfaction.
After completion of the project, the team made sure to tidy the work area. Luis walked through with my husband to make sure he was satisfied.
My overall impression with Luis Contreras and his company is that he is honest and takes pride in his work. I got three bids on this job, all within a few hundred dollars of each other. Luis was able to offer me the most bang for my buck. The job was completed in a timely manner. There were no major delays. I will be using this company again for my next concrete job. The professionalism is what you want out of a company who is adding value to your home. Mr. Contreras was on the project from start to finish. His dedication in ensuring a quality product is unheard of and unmatched in companies today. The quality of work is amazing. What is more important is his willingness to answer questions about the project and make recommendations to ensure you are truly satisfied. I would recommend him highly. And, the end result had my neighbor contact him to add to their existing pad. Also, their estimates are the lowest you can find, but the quality is priceless.
