JK’s Auto Service

Was looking for someone in White Plains to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car and lucked into JK's Auto Service on my first cold call (I live in the midwest so had to do everything over the phone). I worked with Steve who was incredibly helpful - he coordinated with the dealership to get the car over to JK's shop, and after the inspection called me directly to walk through all of their findings and patiently answered ALL of my questions. When I flew up to buy the car I found it exactly as Steve had described. Highly recommend.

I brought my vehicle in for a fluid leak. Steve and his team went above and beyond to check all possible sources. Ultimately no leak was found, but the owner and one of the mechanics took the time to talk through what was checked and how I can continue to monitor the situation going forward. They assured me that all fluid levels were correct and that I would not cause any damage by continuing to drive the car. I can't say enough about the professionalism and personable experience I had at JK's Auto Service. I will use this shop for all future service/repairs to my vehicles.

JK's Auto was great. I originally went in for a battery issue. They tested the battery and told me it was defective. The team charged me nothing for the service and researched that I had a three-year warranty through the dealer and they would likely change it out for free. I really respected the honesty. Soon after I needed my rear brakes replaced. They ordered the parts immediately and got the brakes done the same day for a reasonable price. Great service, honest, and good work.

I went in for my yearly inspection and had an excellent experience. Steve at the counter was incredibly kind and explained everything clearly. They changed my windshield wipers on the spot and gave me a realistic, honest timeline for when I’ll need my brake pads replaced — no pressure, no upselling. The price for the inspection was great, and I genuinely felt they were honest about the overall condition of my car. It’s rare to leave an auto shop feeling confident rather than cheated, but JK Auto truly delivered. Highly recommend!

I brought my BMW X1 in for a coolant leak and was diagnosed with a cracked oil filter housing—a common but frustrating issue with these engines. The team here was fantastic; they explained the failure clearly and recommended an upgraded aluminum assembly instead of the standard plastic part to ensure it wouldn’t happen again. The service was top-notch, the communication was transparent, and the pricing was incredibly fair compared to the local dealership. It’s rare to find a shop that balances technical expertise with such cost-effectiveness. My car is running perfectly. Highly recommend them for any BMW owner!
