Unhesitating, uncaveated thumbs-up for Jersey Shore Modular. Reading through the previous reviews here, I wholeheartedly +1 all of them. I, with my wife's and son's input and support, recently completed a tear-down and new build with JSM in Mystic Island. The scenario was significant for me in that it is the property where I grew up, a lagoon-front home that was flooded and ruined in Superstorm Sandy and is now an amazing rebirth of a home in a stunning location. My parents bought the place in 1970 when I was one year old, and I can't possibly convey the positive emotion of being in a beautiful new home on the same property now that I'm in my... The scenario was significant for me in that it is the property where I grew up, a lagoon-front home that was flooded and ruined in Superstorm Sandy and is now an amazing rebirth of a home in a stunning location. My parents bought the place in 1970 when I was one year old, and I can't possibly convey the positive emotion of being in a beautiful new home on the same property now that I'm in my 50s with a son in college while contemplating the next chapters of my and my family's life. As others have said, Mike, Zack, Tom, and the rest of the JSM crew have been awesome. Since my very first meeting with Mike at the JSM office next to Mystic Island Pizza (another thumbs-up, but I don't want to digress... ;-) ) the experience has been only positive. The hugely emotional and financial undertaking of a project like this was made comfortable, safe, secure, and fun (!) by the attitude, commitment, empathy, and desire to "do the right thing" on the part of the whole JSM team. Every interaction with the team, from the initial exploration of options, to the formal signing, to the preliminary design choices, to the dramatic placement of the modules on pilings, to all the subsequent fit and finish activities, was amazing. I've had numerous people on the street, people I grew up with, people I've only recently met but who happen to be in building trades, people who saw the big cranes from blocks away, tour the house and comment on the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the overall beauty of property. I am happy to be an all-in reference for Jersey Shore Modular and share whatever detail is necessary to help this great business continue to thrive and create more beautiful homes and more family happiness in the wonderful place where I grew up.
When my husband and I decided to knock down and rebuild a house on Long Beach Island, we contacted a local architect and builder. After receiving pricing on what we wanted to build we thought it was extremely high. So we then decided to contact Jersey Shore Modular Homes. Are we glad we did. We saved over 40% and built our dream home. We chose a two story on pilings, 2370 square feet, 4 bedrooms, a family room on each floor and 3 1/2 bathrooms plus an elevator. Mike and Zach guided us through the whole process customizing the model we chose to fit our needs. Whenever we had a question if they didn’t know the answer they returned our call as s... Mike and Zach guided us through the whole process customizing the model we chose to fit our needs. Whenever we had a question if they didn’t know the answer they returned our call as soon as they had the answer. We even traveled to the factory in Mifflenburg , Pa. and took the tour to see how the houses were built indoors. What an amazing experience! After the house was delivered it was turned over to Tom the project manager who kept us updated on the progress even sending photos. We ran into a few hurdles due to the weather but they worked hard to resolve the issues. We would like to highly recommend Mike, Zach, Tom and their team at JSMH. They produce a beautiful product and were amazing to work with. We now consider them family.
We recently completed building our new modular home in Mystic Island, New Jersey with Jersey Shore Modular (JSM), and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The house is stunning and has truly become our dream home, thanks to the dedication and expertise of the JSM team. We recently completed building our new modular home in Mystic Island, New Jersey with Jersey Shore Modular (JSM), and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The house is stunning and has truly become our dream home, thanks to the dedication and expertise of the JSM team. From the very beginning, Mike Dayer, president of JSM, was attentive and responsive to our needs. He worked closely with us throughout the entire project, helping us modify the design to create a home that perfectly matched our vision. Mike’s commitment to customer satisfaction made the process smooth and enjoyable. One aspect that truly set JSM apart was their “all in” estimate. The budget included everything: the modular home itself, the deck, enclosing the bottom of the house, and landscaping. This comprehensive approach made it easy for us to determine what additions we could afford while staying within our personal budget—no surprises or hidden costs. One of the key experiences is to watch the house get “set” on the foundation. Seeing the pieces of the house on flatbeds and then hoisted by crane to their final spots was really cool. The whole house was set, seamed together and finished so it was watertight in about 8 hours. To complete the construction, the JSM team—Tom, Zack, and John—were fantastic to work with. They offered valuable suggestions for upgrades and addressed any issues that came up during construction promptly and professionally. Their combined expertise and attention to detail gave us confidence every step of the way. Upon completion, any punch list items were documented and addressed quickly by the JSM team. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction was evident throughout the final stages, ensuring that every detail met our expectations. Mike Dayer and the JSM team stand firmly behind their product. It is clear that they genuinely care about making sure their customers are completely satisfied. We are thrilled with our new home and highly recommend Jersey Shore Modular to anyone considering building a modular home in the area.
