I have been coming to this shop for a little under a year. In my experience they have always priced fairly. This shop does a very fair card for cash/store credit for ALL customers. Compared to other local shops that only offer 50% cash value of your cards. At this shop, you can get 70% cash on your card sells or 90%-100% value in store credit(can’t remember which one lol). The main workers have always been transparent and have always answered questions or concerns I’ve had in regards to pricing or quality of cards. My two kids, husband and I love coming here. Take some time out of your day and come check it out !!
Feeling nostalgic and missing the good old days where you have cartridges and corded remotes this is the place to go. Very helpful answers all questions and I’ve found things I’ve completely forgotten about best place to go to remember the early days of gaming. They also sell Pokemon cards for some great prices, prismatic was even sold for less than market price when you can’t find them anywhere less than $100 but here you can.
Avoid this place if you can. It used to be good, but we came to find that they are super disorganized and thieves. We bought a ton of stuff from them. A GameCube, an Xbox 360, guitar hero sets, games etc. We also sold them our DS's for dirt cheap too. But they also say they fix game systems. We bought several guitar hero guitars and they all gave us issues. When we'd take them in, they'd give us time frames and we'd show up and they'd pretend they have no idea what we were talking about. So they'd start making phone calls to see if we were lying or if any of the employees knew what we were talking about. In hindsight, we should've been asking... Avoid this place if you can. So they'd start making phone calls to see if we were lying or if any of the employees knew what we were talking about. In hindsight, we should've been asking for tickets or receipts but thats their job to organize their store. The first time, it took them like a month to "fix" our guitar. But we didnt notice all they did was add something between the batteries and the springs so they made contact and powered on. But after a week, we had to swap the batteries and when we did, we didnt notice thats what they had done, so we lost whatever they had put in there the moment we opened the battery cap. When we took it back, they said "its been too long since you bought it now so we cant fix it for free anymore. We're gonna have to charge you." Like bro, what??? Yall should have fixed it the first time or refunded the broken item. Whatever, we paid. They said it would be a while since they'd have to buy a new one to take parts from to fix ours. We waited. They ended up just swapping it. All good. When we bought a new one from them months later, same thing. Had to take it back to fix. To this day, they haven't returned it to us. They just stole our money and our guitar. We also bought a Wii for $200. We tried selling it back after 2 weeks because it was lagging and they said "we dont need one so most we can do is $80." Like huh? That was the last straw. Avoid this place. There's a better shop across the street from the swap meet near Kaiser in Fontana. Forgot the name of that one. And if youre ever in LA, give World 8 a try. The K-town one is better than the Little Tokyo one. Just avoid these guys. They're a bunch of swindlers.
I go almost every week after work to hunt for games bec they have amazing prices!! and the staff are super cool they make you feel like your a friend lol i consider it my home store 🤘
Really cool shop and great prices. I came in and bought 2 PS3 controllers in good condition. He even let me try them out before I bought them! Definitely coming back soon.
